Being Dutch, having studied in Japan, and setting up my studio in São Paulo, my experience in jewelry has been built over the years and expanded into several different areas of interest.

My creativity and my everlasting desire to discover, study, understand and experiment, have led me through many pieces, projects, exhibitions, and exchanges. I am also fascinated by contemporary jewelry, which I teach in groups and individually. Presently I am starting a study group for Makers – a place to either work out projects you are already involved in, or a chance to understand what the possibilities are in your area of interest or related to contemporary jewelry.

The meetings develop through working together, based on examples, artists, texts, and discussions, and my main aim is to help discover a different way of looking and experimenting, which gives greater freedom to build. I find that most of us usually work alone, and being able to exchange, question and observe makes all the difference.

The meetings are in English, weekly, online, 2 hours, limited to 6 participants and according to the best day/time per group; R$400 per month. It is for Makers in any area, or for those who would like to be involved in creativity and know more about contemporary jewelry as well.
